About CBIT

Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT), located in Proddatur, YSR (Kadapa) District, Andhra Pradesh, is a premier institution committed to delivering quality and value-based technical education. Established in 2008 under the aegis of the Bharathi Educational Society, the institute was founded by the renowned philanthropist Dr. V. Jayachandra Reddy, Secretary and Correspondent, along with a team of dedicated and visionary committee members. Approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, CBIT is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapuramu (JNTUA). Since its inception, the institute has been at the forefront of academic excellence, offering a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in emerging engineering disciplines. CBIT provides a dynamic learning environment supported by state-of-the-art infrastructure, advanced laboratories, innovation centers, and a highly qualified faculty. The institution places strong emphasis on research, entrepreneurship, and industry collaboration, enabling students to acquire relevant skills and contribute effectively to technological advancement. CBIT has recently earned significant recognition on global platforms. The institute was honored with the Best Innovation-Driven Organization Award at the NICE-TEAS Asia 2025 Awards held in Hanoi, Vietnam, for its remarkable contributions to innovation and technology development. Demonstrating its commitment to scientific exploration, CBIT recently launched “Stratox 2025”, a helium balloon satellite that soared nearly 30 km into the stratosphere. This historic achievement was officially recorded in the Indian Book of World Records, marking a proud milestone in the institute’s innovation journey. With visionary leadership, robust academic practices, and an ongoing focus on cutting-edge research, CBIT continues to shape the technocrats and innovators of tomorrow.
