Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, Proddatur is located in Proddatur, Andhra Pradesh, India, and spans a total area of 12.16 acres, with a built-up area of 17038 sq. m. The college features four academic blocks housing state-of-the-art facilities for teaching and learning. Lecture halls are equipped to enhance the educational experience.

The institution boasts laboratories supporting various Departments such as Civil, EEE, ECE, Mechanical, Computer Science and allied branches, each equipped with the latest instruments and tools to aid practical learning and research. The library is well-stocked books and offers access to national and international journals. A digital library provides e-books, e-journals, and databases like IEEE and Springer. High-speed internet is available across the campus, supported by dedicated computer centres.

Workshops and innovation centres offer facilities for fabrication and prototyping, providing students hands-on experience with technical skills. The college also includes seminar halls equipped with modern audio-visual systems for hosting conferences, guest lectures, and cultural events.

In terms of recreation, the campus features sports grounds for activities like cricket, football, volleyball and basketball. Indoor games such as table tennis, chess, and carrom are available, along with a gymnasium. Students can also enjoy recreational spaces such as a lounge and multi-purpose halls for various activities and events. The cafeteria offers a hygienic and well-maintained dining space, providing a variety of healthy and delicious meals to students and staff in a comfortable environment. Additionally, the college operates buses for day scholars commuting from different parts of the city.

Our Institution is committed to create a sustainable and ecologically conscientious campus. We have embarked on various green initiatives to enhance the campus’s ecological balance, reduce carbon footprints, and ensure a healthy, green environment for students and faculty. These include an Eco-Species Plantation, which strategically plants indigenous and eco-species trees and plants throughout campus, thus contributing to the area’s natural biodiversity. Green grasses and lawns are sown across landscapes to mitigate erosion of soil, improve water retention, and add aesthetic value. Drip irrigation systems are in place to reduce water consumption while nourishing plants effectively.

The campus is equipped with solar panels with a capacity of 201 kW, generating clean energy to power various facilities. This initiative significantly reduces dependency on conventional electricity.

The campus employs a robust system for separating biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste. Regular energy audits are conducted to monitor and optimize energy use, ensuring maximum efficiency.

Through various initiatives, including energy conservation, tree plantation, and the use of renewable energy, Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology is dedicated to lowering its carbon footprint and contributing to a cleaner, healthier planet.
