Computer Center

Our students have unrestricted, round-the-clock access to air-conditioned computer laboratories equipped with structured fibre optic and UTP cabling network and other relevant software. The students are privileged to have access to our state-of-the-art computer laboratories, which are home to over 450 computers (ACER, DELL, LENOVA and HP make), 4 servers, 20 printers and over 32 laptops (DELL ACER and HP make) with a dedicated network. The Overall ratio of computers to students is nearly more than the number recommended.
The Computer laboratories are being upgraded from time to time to provide the best computational infrastructure.
The Computer Centre houses powerful servers, which provide computational environment comprising of multiple operating systems – Microsoft Windows, Linux and Unix, and can be accessed from any of the nodes attached to the servers across the campus.

Power Backup at Computer Center

Uninterruptible Power System (UPS) – 15 KVA 5 and 7KVA 4 backup and 225 KVA Diesel Green Generator Set.
Internet Facility Internet lab is operational with 60 desktop computers. This facility is central facility and is available for students and staff members of the college. Internet facility is available through broadband 50 Mbps AirTel wireless Connectivity and BSNL. This provides single hop access to internet gateway AirTel hub. Campus LAN is extended to all departments, including administrative building using 2 Km long fiber optic back bone.
Placement & Training Center Lab is operational with 60 i5 computers. This facility is available to give training for students. This also useful for attending the online examinations of various IT companies.
Documentation Facility: The Computer Centre also houses the Printers, Scanners etc for the purposes of documentation, printing, scanning and backup.
