STRENGTH OF MATERIALS LABORATORY
The objective of the strength of materials lab isto demonstrate the basic principles in the area of strength and mechanics of materials and structural analysis to the undergraduate students through a series of experiments.

SURVEYING LABORATORY
Surveying Laboffers additional experience in fundamental land surveying measurement methods for surveying courses, including precision steel taping methods to perform horizontal measurements, digitaltheodolitesto perform angular measurements and traditional and automatic levels for elevation measurements.

FLUID MECHANICS & HYDRAULIC MACHINERY LABORATORY
Surveying Laboffers additional experience in fundamental land surveying measurement methods for surveying courses, including precision steel taping methods to perform horizontal measurements, digitaltheodolitesto perform angular measurements and traditional and automatic levels for elevation measurements.

CONCRETE TECHNOLOGY LABORATORY
The concrete technology lab isestablished to train students to carry out tests on common construction materials such as concrete, cement, fine and coarse aggregates etc. The tests are conducted to determine the engineering properties in terms of workability, strength and durability.

GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING LABORATORY
The Geotechnical Engineering Laboratoryintends to train the students in the field of testing of soils to determine their physical, index and engineering properties. This instruction manual guides the students to conduct the test as per Bureau of Indian Standard procedures.

TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERING LABORATORY
The Transportation Engineering lab hasequipment required to conduct all standardized tests to assess quality of highway materials, pavement evaluation and traffic engineering studies. Experiments are conducted in pre-, during- and post-construction phases of highways.

ENGINEERING GEOLOGY LABORATORY
This courseemphasizes on the study of various types of rock formation and its physical properties. Topics such as rocks and minerals, soils, and earthquake activities are discussed with special reference to local geological problems. This lab course also focuses on physical properties of minerals.

COMPUTER AIDED DRAFTING OF BUILDINGS LABORATORY
The CAD Laboratory is a central facility of the institute where all undergraduate and postgraduate students, research scholars and faculty members can work with the sophisticated 2-D & 3-D design and analysis software. They can learn to use the latest software and carry out their research work.
