Computer Science and Engineering

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) was established in the year 2008 with intake of 60. The Intake was increased to 120 in the year 2011, and further increased to 180 in the year 2020 and recently increased to 360 in the year 2024.

The B.Tech Program in CSE has been accredited twice by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), in 2019 and 2022.  The period of validity for the program is till 30 June, 2025.

The Department of CSE aims to expertise in computation through strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and coding skills in programming languages like Python, C, Java and open source technologies, Data centric and secure application development, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, and big data technologies.

The CSE department often collaborates with other disciplines, such as mathematics, electrical engineering, and artificial intelligence, to explore emerging areas like machine learning, computer vision, robotics, and data science These interdisciplinary programs help students gain a broader perspective and apply their skills to various domains, including healthcare, finance, cyber security, and more.

The department with well-established labs is all equipped in preparing the students in Computer Science Engineering, an ever-evolving discipline, and its latest developments. We proudly announce that many of our alumni are leaders in academia, industry and government.

Students have access to high speed broad band internet connection and a well-equipped department library.

Student Chapters of IEEE, CSI and ISTE conduct events round the year, keeping students busy with beyond-the-classroom activities.

Aim of the Department:

  • To improve teaching learning process to achieve academic excellence.
  • To achieve 80% pass percentage.
